The Chatham Market Wal‐Mart will bring Chicago’s South Side access to good paying jobs in a challenging economic time.

Unemployment in Chicago has risen to 10.6%; a 25‐year high. The economic downturn is affecting communities across the country and the communities of South Side Chicago are no exception.

As unemployment increases in our communities, our Alderman should know that they can Vote for Jobs on Chicago’s South Side by voting to approve a Wal-Mart Supercenter in Chatham.

Wal-Mart’s success on Chicago’s West Side is evidence of the positive impact the South Side can expect.
